The name Olivet is derived from the Mount of Olives, the location where Jesus gave his most famous sermon, the Sermon on the Mount. More importantly, it is the location from which he gave his disciples their final commandment to "go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded" (Matthew 28:19-20) before ascending to Heaven where he currently sits at the right hand of God. As a local congregation of Jesus' church, we desire for ourselves to go into our neighborhoods and workplaces telling people about our savior.

What We Believe

In short, we believe that in essentials there must be unity, in non-essentials there can be freedom, but in everything there must be love. A full list of our beliefs is contained in this section.

The staff at Olivet each has a servant's heart to serve God's people. This section gives a short bio on each member of the team along with their contact information.

Church Board
