KidsQuest

It is important that families learn to worship together, but sermons can feel too long or boring for younger children. While sermons are an important part of worship for adults and older children, we find that KidsQuest is a better way to teach the younger kids how to learn and apply Bible lessons. During our contemporary service we make it possible for families to sit together during the first half of the worship service, but before the sermon, the pastor dismisses the younger kids to KidsQuest during the sermon time.  Each week at KidsQuest, the children learn to sing with a wide variety of “kid-friendly” worship songs. Through songs and a weekly Bible story, even the youngest kids are able to remember Bible stories and Christian principles. Recently the kids have been learning the following songs: The Lord’s Prayer, Deep & Wide, We Bow Down, etc. After the singing, kids hear a Bible story and learn a principle that can apply to their life. At Olivet, our goal is to help younger kids enjoy church while learning how much God loves them. Thanks for letting us be part of raising up your children in the way of the Lord!
