Blended Worship Service

Are you looking for a new church home?  Our goal is to help you feel welcomed and at home in our church so you only feel like a visitor once! People will greet you warmly at the door and then you will be given a bulletin and may take a seat in our sanctuary.  This service includes singing and special music, prayer and teaching from the Bible. Our pastor and worship leaders will guide everyone, and your bulletin will give you a rundown of each week’s service.  At Olivet, you should always feel the freedom to participate actively in our worship or to just listen and observe at your discretion. Our early Sunday worship service is an intergenerational service that is valued by many young families and older members for its contribution to the creation of a church family. 

Contemporary Worship Service

Thinking about trying church again?  Try our contemporary service and experience a relaxed, no pressure atmosphere.  Whether you consider yourself a believer or a skeptic, a spiritual person or agnostic, we think you’ll find this service to be a place where you can enjoy. We won’t pressure you to give any money or sign up for anything.

 If you haven’t been to church in a while or don’t like going, give us a try.

 If you want an atmosphere of authenticity and people being real, give us a try.

 If you’re open to hearing what God has to say about everyday life issues, give us a try.

Karen (Burmese) Worship Service

For over 2 years a small group of the Karen people from Burma have been meeting at Olivet for weekly Sunday morning classes.  Beginning in the fall of 2009 they found their own teacher who speaks the Karen language and they also began their own worship band.  Since then, their small meetings have exploded in growth, so much so that they now fill the Olivet Sanctuary during their worship service at 1:00 PM.  If you are interested in seeing what this service is like or know anybody who speaks the Karen language, we would love to have you join us.  Babysitting for children is available.
